Listen dan Hear sama sama berarti mendengar, namun terdapat perbedaan diantara dua kata tersebut.

Listen berarti mendengar dengan seksama, sambil memperhatikan dan ada unsur kesengajaan. Sedangkan Hear berarti mendengar sambil lalu, tanpa ada unsur kesengajaan.

contoh kalimat :

When we are in the Class, we have to listen to the teacher. ( not hear )

I hear a strange noise from another class. ( Tanpa ada unsur kesengajaan )

We often heard that a text is lack of coherence and may be lack of cohesion. But, what is actually meant by cohesion or coherence?

Cohesion is the formal links that mark various types of inter-clauses and inter-sentence relationships whitin a discourse. They are five types of cohesion. There are reference, substitution, conjuction, and lexical cohesion.
